Message from our newest Chairman, Matthew J. Bridger

Hi All, I’m Matthew Bridger and I am honoured to have been elected as the Chairman of the Sutton Trust Community Group this evening. I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to a remarkable individual, our outgoing chairman, Tom. His tenure as chairman has been nothing short of extraordinary, his unwavering commitment to our community has inspired all of us and impacted countless lives along the way.

Tom’s contributions extend far beyond his role as chairman. He is a friend, a mentor, and a source of inspiration. Working alongside Tom has been a privilege and a joy. His kindness, humility, and genuine concern for others have left an indelible mark on all of us. Tom’s ability to bring people together, foster collaboration, and instil a sense of purpose is truly remarkable.

As we bid farewell to Tom as Chairman and as a Trustee, we do so with mixed emotions. While we are saddened to see him step down from this position, we are excited about the future endeavours that await him. We have no doubt that he will approach them with the same dedication and passion that he has shown us here.

Tom, on behalf of the entire charity and our community, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your exceptional leadership, your unwavering commitment, and your friendship. You have left an indelible legacy, and your impact will continue to be felt long after today.
