Sutton Trust Community Group is a charitable organisation nestled in the heart of Abbey Hulton. 

Our garden is a therapeutic haven, offering opportunities for light and moderate exercise through planting, weeding, pruning, and gardening. The mental stimulation provided by designing and planning the garden layout, as well as choosing what and when to grow, creates a space of interest and engagement.

At Sutton Trust Community Group, we believe that learning is key to improving mental health and increasing self-esteem. Our ongoing activities such as computer clubs, craft and sewing groups, and monthly children’s discos provide mental stimulation, build confidence, and foster self-improvement.

We celebrate our community by hosting events such as the Christmas Light Switch On and annual fireworks display. Our charitable objectives focus on improving mental health, reducing isolation, promoting physical well-being, and helping people acquire skills that can aid them in gaining employment and improving their lives. We believe that our craft and gardening groups, in particular, offer practical and creative skills that enhance both personal and professional development.

We are also proud to open our venue to other community groups who share our values of improving health and well-being. Sutton Trust Community Group is committed to creating a supportive and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
